Despite her career in the tech industry, Daphne has been passionate about the performing arts since she was three years old. From coming up with unique dance performances with her hip hop dance duet partner, closing multiple shows in high school, to putting on a full-blown circus-themed performance in college with her dance organization for a homecoming competition — Daphne has always had a conceptual mind, coming up with various concepts to tell stories, deliver messages, and create experiences. 

 

Daphne has always had an appreciation for the many methods in which stories are communicated — from 90s/2000s music videos, albums, concerts, etc. She believes that the way one conveys their story or message has a huge impact on the what and how a message is received. She has also been uniquely frustrated with the way that “content” has evolved throughout the years. Now more than ever, she sees more and more people who are more concerned with their content appearance rather than the actual message delivered through it, if one even truly exists. Out of this concern, DDC was created. 

 

Daphne believes that media and the arts should be used to honor Christ by sharing His heart and principles, but also to communicate and illustrate stories that are real and authentic. The sole purpose of DDC is to serve artists, dance teams, ministries, and organizations, in the process of conceptualizing, choreographing, or producing projects that bring messages of truth and authentic stories to life, through media and/or live performance and entertainment.
